some light on 'dark energy'
the Big Bang theory is the best accredited in the scientific world, the birth of the universe. An event inexplicable, like a huge explosion, in infinitesimal fractions of a second, giving rise to space-time, then finally to the energy and matter. The latter, formed stars and galaxies are moving away from the origin point moving in space, being empty, does not pose any obstacle to their bikes. The only obstacle is the volume of the material they are made, it in fact generates gravity, a property which has the material to warp space-time.
In 1687 Isaac Newton enunciated the "law of universal gravitation, according to which two bodies in space attract each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of the masses and inversely to the square of their distance.
Albert Einstein in 1916, enunciated his theory of physics "general relativity" in which the force of gravity is an interaction between two masses at a distance, but the properties of matter, the warping of space-time lines, due to geometrical deformation of the surrounding space-time. Although Einstein's theory allows calculations with a smaller margin of error, "Newton's Law" explains the action and allows its measurement, whatever the origins or effects produced by the force of gravity.
The force of gravity, therefore, slows the expansion motion of matter in the universe. But
a decade ago, cosmologists discovered something completely unexpected. The expansion of the universe, in fact, is not slowing but accelerating. As if unknown energy called "dark energy" in the absence of a better term, acting against gravity. The proof of this? Very distant galaxies, almost the edge of the observable universe, moving away from us at speeds higher than expected.
Not to overturn the law of gravity, including formulas and verification already carried out, even before making new theories, we should think that this unexpected acceleration of distant galaxies is due, once again, to gravity. Because you can not imagine its origin in our universe, we can only hypothesize that an external mass which generates gravitational interaction with the galaxies of our universe. No consideration logic and no known physical law, prevents us from imagining that the Big Bang was not a unique event, which created the universe to which we belong, but that event can occur many times to give real meaning to the term "infinite" , pace of theologians and supporters of parallel universes.
